Team USA Lacrosse is ready to take on the world in Israel this summer. In mid-July, the best American lacrosse players will compete against 47 other nations for a shot to call themselves the best of the best. With support from New York Lizards stars, like Paul Rabil, Team USA is embarking on a quest for gold!
The ‘Beast’ Returns for the World Games
Greg “Beast” Gurenlian, who retired from the New York Lizards in 2017, will make his second appearance on Team USA. The legendary face-off specialist has spent the last year preparing to take home the gold. A New York fan favorite, Gurenlian wants badly to add a world championship to his stack of trophies.
USA Lacrosse Team to Play MLL All-Stars in Boston
The 2018 Major League Lacrosse All-Star Game will feature a match-up between Team USA Lacrosse and the MLL All-Star Team. The exhibition game will be held on Thursday, June 28 at Harvard Stadium in Boston. It will be part of a four-day training camp before the squad flies to Israel.
The USA lacrosse team, which is coached by Duke University’s John Danowski, has 21 current MLL players on its roster, including Paul Rabil, Rob Pannell and Kyle Hartzell. New York Lizards Will Manny and Joe Walters will play against them on the MLL All-Star team.

New York Lizards’ Rob Pannell is one of the Team USA players to watch. The explosive attackman has become a goalie’s worst nightmare. He is currently the leading scorer in all of Major League Lacrosse.
Where to Watch the Games
The 2018 Federation of International Lacrosse World Championship will be broadcasted from Netanya, Israel on ESPN and ESPN+. The games will begin on Thursday, July 12 and run through Saturday, July 21. Over 10 days, ESPN2 and ESPNU will televise 14 matchups.
