Most of us received our first introduction to lacrosse via gym class in middle school or high school. It probably involved those short plastic lacrosse sticks that doubled as door props and the nets made out of PVC pipe that were not built to withstand wind let alone a shot from a ball that can destroy a cinder block. Luckily, the sport has grown quite a bit and as youth leagues have expanded, so too have the resources for those leagues.
